Effective date: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SCARECROW LTD ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ScareCrow platform, including our mobile applications (Android and iOS), our web application, and related services (together, the "Service").
If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
While using our Service, you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, and farm or plot details. This information is transmitted to and stored on our secure servers (Google Firebase) and is used to operate your account, provide agronomic monitoring features, and improve the Service.
We collect the following categories of data:
The ScareCrow app collects precise (GPS) and approximate location data from your device. We collect this data to:
Background location: when you start a tracking session in the app (for example, a spraying session), the app continues to collect location data while it is in the background or the screen is off, so that the full route of the session can be recorded. While background tracking is active, your device indicates that location is in use (for example, a persistent notification or status bar indicator). Background collection stops when you end the session or close the app.
Location data is transmitted to and stored on our servers (Google Firebase) and may be visible to other authorized users of your organization (for example, your agronomist, inspector, or farm manager). Location data is processed by Google Maps Platform in order to render maps and routes. We do not sell your location data.
You can stop location collection at any time by disabling the location permission in your device settings. Some features (maps, trap placement, inspections, and session tracking) will not function without it.
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by the app:
Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products such as Firebase Crashlytics) on your device, called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when using our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This data is used solely to diagnose problems and improve the Service.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:
These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. They are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Data you create in the app (including locations of traps, findings, and reports) may be shared with other authorized users in your organization, such as your agronomist, inspector, or farm manager, as part of the normal operation of the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you have an account, you can delete it by signing in at https://cameraapp-49969.web.app/delete-account and confirming your password. Alternatively, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at support@scarow.com. Upon account deletion or a verified deletion request, your account and associated personal data are deleted from our servers within 30 days.
We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it, including encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
